We Know that God Hears, God Answers, God knows what is going on…. He does not forget, he does not make mistakes and he does not neglect us… so why do we struggle for answers, or desperately look for signs that our prayers have been heard?
Remember that God is perfect in every way, so any communication breakdown or error in understanding is not on Him.. it’s probably on us.
Many people approach prayer as like they would a signal fire… a way to get God’s attention. We recite, we quote, we repeat, we follow the beads hoping they will focus God’s attention onto us.
“When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. Matthew 6:7
The fact is we already have God’s attention – we are His children after all. He just can’t stop thinking about us and the life we are meant to live.
Psalm 139:17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!
Psalm 40:5 O LORD my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.
We know God answers prayers – we have seen it in the lives of others and even experienced in our own lives… yet we often feel separate from Him and Wonder if he is with us…

Eph 3:20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.
His power is not in question… it us the “us” part of this equation that requires some attention.
The philosopher Anshelm described God as“That which nothing greater can be thought” - If you are afraid of some problem or other power that might interfere with Gods plans for you, (curses or witchcraft, etc ) then that problem or other thing is your God. If there is nothing in your heart or mind that can overcome God’s plans – God is your God.
